School Rules and Regulations

  • The first trial class is FREE of charge
     
  • Fees/half fees are due during the first week of term and must be settled the first week after half term. Principals have the right to refuse to teach any pupil whose fees are in arrears
     
  • Dancewear must be paid in full by the end of the term otherwise a 20% charge will be incurred. Principals have the right to refuse to teach any pupil whose uniform account is in arrears
     
  • Uniform must be purchased through the school & all correct uniform must be worn to all classes, exams and rehearsals
     
  • Hair must be worn in a bun for ballet classes & neatly tied back off the face for all other classes
     
  • No jewellery or make up to be worn in classes 
     
  • Pupils are entered for exams at the discretion of the Principals
     
  • Examination fees must be paid prior to the date of the examination.
     
  • From Grade 2 Ballet & Grade 3 Modern/Tap and above, pupils are required to attend two classes a week in the given genre in order to be considered for an examination.  All pupils who are unable to do so will require a longer period of training
     
  • In the event of absence through illness or holidays fees will not be refunded
     
  • A half terms notice is required in writing in the event of a pupil withdrawing from the school. No fees will be refunded. When notice is not received half terms fees will be applicable and charged
     
  • If we are unable to contact parents/guardians in the unlikely event of an accident or extreme illness we will act in loco parentis and take whatever action is necessary in the best interest of the child
     
  • In the event of sickness & diarrhoea, students must allow 48 hours after the last bout of illness before returning to class
     
  • Parents are not permitted to be in the studio whilst the classes are in progress, except during the designated termly watching week
     
  • The school will not accept any responsibility for any losses incurred on the premises
     
  • All members of our teaching faculty hold an Enhanced Disclosure CRB Certificate. We also have a qualified First Aider at the studio
     
  • Any pupil not able to attend a class should contact the school either by e-mail, or phone. Please leave a message on the studio answer phone (01993 706352)
